Job Purpose:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling the publishing services of Mokonyane Publishers. This includes book publishing packages, editing, cover design, ISBN registration, printing, and distribution. The candidate must identify potential clients (authors, entrepreneurs, creatives), close sales, and build lasting relationships.
Matric certificate (tertiary qualification in marketing, communication, or related fields is an advantage).

Previous sales experience (preferably in publishing, printing, or media) is an advantage.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good presentation and negotiation skills.

Self-driven, confident, and target-focused.

Basic knowledge of books, publishing, or entrepreneurship is beneficial.

Own transport or willingness to travel (if required).

Social media marketing skills are a plus.

Commission-based structure.

Identify and contact potential clients through cold calling, online platforms, networking, and in-person visits.

Keep detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions.

Attend expos, book fairs, seminars, and community events to promote the company.

Provide regular feedback and market insights to management.

Handle customer queries and follow up with after-sales support.

Represent Mokonyane Publishers with professionalism and passion.
